Renaming cities

When I capture a city it will not allow me to rename it for free like I could before.

I just had the same problem. I took a city, but I'm being asked to pay to change the name.

Yes this is a frustrating bug that needs fixing, I captured 3 cities today 2 barbs one player city 1 barb allowed me to change it's name the other 2 cities want me to pay gold, please fix this ASAP!

I agree this sucks. I want to keep attacking but not renaming cities won't let be be able to group cities by region anymore. That makes it harder to find individual cities

Has anyone heard of a fix yet? I have had tompay for four cities over the last couple days.

I have same issue. Four cities now had to,be paid for.

I am looking into the paid name change issue. You should still receive the first name change for free, but there is a bug stopping that right now. Working to get that fixed.

Looks like bug is fixed. Thank you. Can you spot me 5 gold so I can rename the one city that wouldn't let me rename thanks again
