I think its awesome! Besides just how cool it looks its not like you really need to search the map. Any city you need to know about is right next to you or in a bb code anyway.

I disagree Josh, how are you going to look for new targets to capture if you can't scroll the map because it gets half a frame a second? Unless a 10k barb pops up right next to you, you'll never be able to find it.
I'd like for PlayMesh to change the map back until they can optimize it a little better or something. I don't know how it is on an ipad, but on my iphone 4s, the map is basically unuseable right now.

I agree with the OP, was this update tested on all platforms? I'm using iPhone 3GS and now suffering with serious performance issues, including the map lag which makes it impossible to navigate.

oh hey......... map lag is WAY worse than before the update AND the contrast is all jacked up. you guys make way too much money off this game to keep such crappy developers on your payroll. my husband is a graphic designer, would you like his help?? lol
