Medals?!!!!!?

I'm more interested in when medals come in world 85 and after as I'm a strong player and see weaker players boasting medals where-as I have none. Please tell me when medals are available to players in world 85 and after.

Competitions will be coming again.

The exact when is not clear but I will be giving as much notice as I can about it.
