Valor Scheduled Maintenance [Look Here]

Postby tskk » Wed Nov 07, 2012 1:13 pm

I know there is a official sticky-ed thread regarding the status of the server, Official Valor Thread.
But i think you should change the way you let us know of the upcoming valor downtime.

Instead of keeping a "Valor Status Thread"
why not create a thread that lets us know ahead of time and also allow us to tell the how long the update is just from the title?
So that we may coordinate attacks or defences ahead of the inevitable downtime?

There is nothing more frustrating than planning on dodging an attack at a certain time, only to find out you can't because playmesh decided to implement some update.

Something along the title like this would let us know and allow us to notify our guildmates/allies instead of asking around and wondering what the heck is wrong with our devices or valor

---- EXAMPLE ----
Valor Scheduled Maintenance (Nov 07, 2012, 0000 - 0400 vt)
- Dear fellow valorians, the server will be down from Nov 07, 2012, 0000-0400 vt (valor time) for the upcoming _______ update.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in advance.
PlayMesh Staff.

P.S. I post this in the general forum because it gets more exposure/feedback here than anywhere else in the forums.

Oh, that is why I cannot get in. Could not find any relevant info. :-(
I understand you ran into something that needed maintenance asap but did you know it only just now and was it unable to postpone maintenance for 24h?
Might have been nice to get a heads up.

Completely agree. Rather disappointing because this time it was obviously pre planned

Well, once it is up again, we are all in for something epic. I know since I'm a beta tester. But I swore an oath of secrecy.

Not forgetting to add...

It also reduces the number of people from spamming the playmesh support complaining about the connection issue.
Less work for playmesh support staff.
Quicker reply times to other, more important support tickets.

Happy players / happy playmesh staff everywhere.

Lucky for some. Some of us have changed to android since putting their names down so won't be able to play but still got to see all they are missing out on. Raising hopes and taking them down *silent sobbing*

I disagree. I'm at work all day and have no time for Valor. Except at night. So it wouldn't have helped me at all
