Quark - I love you but you are boring me to death

Postby VVeasel » Fri Feb 08, 2013 2:29 pm

I know you have heard this before, but I am going to say it myself. These victory conditions are really boring me to death.

Here are the current World 150 stats:

Alien Empire: 34,776,166 points

The next guild: 267,588 points (Oh, and btw he is dead, it just hasn't refreshed).

The next guild: 124,936 points (Oh, btw he is dead, too, it just hasn't refreshed).

The next guild: 36,417 points (Oh, btw he is dead.)

Next: 36,103 (They actually aren't dead. But they only really have 3,900 points).

Given all that...we still have who knows how long of mop up to do.

Please, for the love all that is right and just, fix the victory conditions!!

OK, back to playing Angry Birds, because it is currently way more exciting than your app.

This is a very real problem that Quark needs to address and correct ASAP if they want to keep their player base.

W144(5k)
50 member guild limit.

Current conditions:
BringersOfAnguish (36 members): 16,000,000.

NO OTHER GUILD IS LEFT.

Highest point player that is not in BringersOfAnguish: 1,400 points.

Our guild has been moping up 1,085 point cities for nearly 3 weeks. When will it end? I don't know. I wish it wasn't like this.

Haha yeah it is not fun when it's basically over with no way that you'll lose and the world just continues to drag on. And VVeasel I am still ticked off you killed your former crown. I could have still been of use to your guild. Scarecrow wasn't happy and I don't know if he told you. And also your last words "Those who stand in our way are going to die. Resistance is futile." You were afraid of us because we were the last guild who actually threatened you! Oh and BTW I'm Deathhawk01392.

I would just like to point out here that in the old style worlds it didn't get boring like the new ones do. The only way to achieve victory in a 20 to 60k world was to form alliances. Once your alliance had "won" you could then fracture up and continue playing. So 6 months later the world was still interesting. I guess the new worlds are just not designed to have any end game draw to them. A perfect analogy would be this. The old style worlds are like a set of silver silverware. They take a lot of time to maintain but last many lifetimes and hold their value. The new worlds are like a set of plastic silverware. You use them once and throw them away. Sure you can try and maintain them but they end up breaking and are nearly worthless from the start. If I were Quark I would invest in real silver and stop messing around with cheap throw away products.
