reason server is down

Below is what is floating around the chat rooms. Is this truly the reason the server is down? I would assume if their was a hack with finances involved that the players would have been told.

Well found out what happened. The guys that had so much building and troops had hacked into valor. They were caught and the system was shut down. They had taken in excess of $10,000 total between 6 of them so it's a federal offense. Feds shut down the system for 48 hrs. Maybe longer. They had worked on this for 2 weeks from other worlds. They were caught in the first 15 hrs of their latest world and tracked.

Furthermore the reason this concerns me is that in chat I have always heard that there is a gold hack in valor and this sounds like it could be related. Indeed some players you can tell spend.hundreds a month on valor for many months now.

That was started as a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guardians have NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. I swear to god i've seen this and my ktalk has been blowing up over this since the joke was posted last night.

Well one thing is certain 2 days is a long time for hardware failure. And the issue is still raised that there are potential gold hacks. I would like an answer regarding that
