W539 ended??

Hey Nick,
Myself and a bunch of friends just rejoined Valor after some extended vacation.
We started in w539 a few days ago and spent some gold. Everything was going fine until about an hour ago when the game started saying that the world had ended.

How come?? And what about the gold we spent??
