Hmm.. Only top 24? I know a few Champions including myself had to get up in the wee hours just to participate in the tourney. We went back to bed frustratingly and disappointedly after that.

The plan was always to just give a reward to the top 24. Because of the technical issues that prize became gold instead of moving on in the tournament.
