Impossible barb explosion

World 46 just went through a "barb explosion". A city next to mine was 1085 points yesterday, turned barb, and is 6900 points today. I understand that after a certain amount of inactivity, cities will turn to barbs, but how can it jump 5800 points in a single day? There are also 4k barb cities all around me now, where there used to be 1085 cities. I took one of these new barb cities and it didn't have a large enough farm to support all of its buildings (no, I didn't use my ballista to hit the farm and I don't think anyone else did either).

Is this standard for this game? Has it happened in other worlds or is this a fluke?

That does seem a bit strange.

Could you please contact our support team with the coordinates of a couple of those cities?

Reported a similar bug in World 49. A Barb City have 4,000+ Guardians - and keep building ???

Hmm. Yes. This has happened on world 48, Victus too. One city in my guilds enemy was just a 2K village. But the player got kicked and is now a 10K point keep.

Got the same thing I world 47 all the barbs are huge now and the ones that got huge are the used to be inactive cities I noticed this after I got the update

Guyz this is normal if the people have got like 20 cities, The barbs start to grow, max Between 10,11k this is because you can farm resources and that kind of stuff. If there are still troops in and growing it was à city abbandoned by à player the stats Will stay the same even the troops in it. Self growing barbs Will random grow.

ItzJosh, If you you check the above posts, the problem is:
1.) Sudden instead of gradual rise in points
2.) Low point Inactives going barb
3.) Troops being rebuilt
4.) Buildings being built disregarding farm population

The main issue is the troops being rebuilt and the massive amount of troops it can have.

I keep on trying to tell the devs that it is Skynet practicing for the end of days, but they seem to think it is some sort of glitch instead.

I just ran into something similar today however it wasn't a barb city but an inactive city. I sent a lvl 3 scout to a 4815pt town. The report came back with 60 spears and 890zerks. I send a 4 waves, 1 clearing and 3 scholars with escort. My first wave hit the city within 5hrs of the scout and cleared the city - it had 60 spears and now 968zerks. A 78 zerk increase in 5hrs is acceptable. Less than 1hr later (51min to be exact) my second wave, first scholar hit and I ran into 1256 lancers!!! My second scholar wave hit within a minute following and magically 825 additional sentries appeared!!! Never the less I lost all 3 scholar waves.

Mind you his barracks are at lvl 11, warehouse at 15 and resource buildings at 15 each. A lancer in world 49 takes 2min to build with lvl 15 barrack. For him to build 1200 lancers he would need 40hours not 5hrs. Forget about the sentries. And no this guy isnt in a guild nor does he have a second city. Hes been inactive for 5 days as I've been watching his city. The guy has always had even resource numbers (i.e. 20,104 - 20,104 - 20,104) which is a dead give away for being inactive.

Can anyone explain how this happened without the answer being "a glitch" ?????

The same thing happened to me -- except it was my city. In world 54 I believe it was called Bryndal, I didn't go into it for a few days and when I went back I found 100+ lancers and 696 sentry in it. I swear I don't use any cheating thing- I don't even use gold. And I hadn't been in for a few days. My farm level was way over the limit.
