If you could add a new unit to Valor, what would it be? I’m talking name, description, stats (attack, speed, haul capacity, etc.), even an icon if you have the means to create one. How would this unit improve the game? The more details the better. For example, we know Archers are pretty popular in these parts, so if you go that route be prepared to back it up with some cold, hard science.

At 5:00pm (Pacific) on Wednesday, May 2nd, this thread will be closed and we’ll pick our two favorite ideas. The two winners will be announced within this thread no later than Thursday, May 3rd and I will contact them via a private message to award them each with 200 Gold.

Does this mean that the winners will have their ideas put into the game? While I won’t completely rule anything out, this is really just a chance to have some fun and give away some Gold. I like Gold.

Attack speed

I think you should make a unit that quickens other units attacks like by .5 of the percentage the although it would cost 500 of each resource I would like this because when I attack some one a hour away or more all they do Is callin A bunch of support

My idea is the cart. Created from the workshop, they can transport a certain number of troops (let's say 10-15) per Cart, and drastically reduce the movement time of your armys. They can be lost in battle and give a slight defensive boost. Any units carried in with a cart, and there cart is lost, will be split up from the main group and return and normal speed. They can carry most infantry(Spears, Sents, Zerks) and offer no boost to attack value besides movement speeds. This idea originated from the hours spent waiting for my army to return to me. :)

Everybody knows the story of hannibal, here i got my idea from. The war elephant (bellum elephantis). they arent that great in defend but still can defend himself a bit against the infranty Army, but it cant defend himself against mountain units because they have such a big speed. The elephants haven't got a big speed. but they are very Strong! You need 5 population to require a bellum elephantis. So you have got a view points that are great like high Attack, and has got a good,normal defense against the infrantry army. Its a shame for the low speed but its fair. There shouldnt be faster units, it sounds good but you cant defend yourself against their speed. So the game will be ruined. Thats why i made such a slow unit but can be used for new and great tactical moves.

I found a picture of its perhaps a bit to hard to add but this is how it should look like, biggest parts.

(which would need a new building: temples)

A city would build a temple and dedicate itself to a deity. This deity could imbue the city with charateristics, and at the same time, expose liabilities. Examples:
Fire: +offense, -defense, -resources
Water: -offense, +defense, +resources
Earth: +defense, + resources, -speed
Air: +offense, -defense, -resources. +speed

And then the fun part. You can launch your deity to attack a city and their deity (of course this would be a very, very expensive and rare event). The losing army in a deity battle would become a barbarian city. Still controlled by its owner, but shunned from joining any guilds.

The sabotuers.5 of each defense but a unique ability to enter a city before the battle begins, poison food. Destroy weopons and break wall doors. Each one sent has a chance to take 20-40 defensive points (based on research) if not destroyed by sabateurs in the defending city. Recruited in the stable (shady hangout) for 3 population 100 wood 90 clay and 110 iron. 0 haul capacity and a movement slightly faster than rams.

The commander when sent out with attackers, will boost the offensive capabilities of your troops, making them deal 20% more damage. When used with defending troops and attacked, the defending troops will get the 20% defensive boost. Multiple commanders cannot stack their abilities, so even if you have hundreds of them in one attack or defence, they will still provide only 20% offence or defence boost.

- I was thinking about magic but idk if you guys wanted tht stuff in this game..

Howitzers are the most advanced offensive units. They Come under workshop recruitment.

They are known for their offense and tend to take revenge for the Dark and Violent past of their Ancestors. They are the most violent during night as they go mad in the darkness. They are thirsty of blood. Beware!!!!!!


They would evolve the game to the next generation and improve the games quality due to strong offensive stats.

Description: a sexy lady that can seduce a scholar. Thus killing said scholar, and killing the sexy lady. The scholar has to be in the city to do this. It can be recruited in the academy as well, but maybe a different count to recruit it. She also rides a metallic shark.
