Trust me, 2k is the number. You've missed a city somewhere, or one is hiding. Put in a trouble ticket so Quark can do a manual check.

K, we found the guy hiding with two 1085 point cities. We will be awaiting next scan

Quark did a poll before mass scholarship purchasing came out, but they never announced the results. They haven't closed worlds though, so it appears the decision is to keep them open, as is.

Based on comments in the forums, a lot of people wanted them to stay open. Also, I'd venture a guess that most worlds haven't even met new legacy win conditions.

As far as I knew there were going to close old worlds and issue titles per that poll. It just never happened

Although some folks were pushing for that, Quark never committed either way to it.

AFAIK, it's correct. 0800 hasn't hit yet, and if you're waiting on GW9, there's at least one out there.
