Victory Conditions Update!

Postby Orlor » Thu Jul 24, 2014 3:47 pm

Valorians!

Changes to the victory conditions for new worlds have been made!

Conquering a world in Valor is a great feeling but that long clean up phase at the end is something we wanted to change.

Beginning with world 461 and in all NEW worlds the victory conditions point threshold will be increased weekly.

Each week when the Victory Check Points increase an in game notification will be sent to all players inside of that world.

The Victory Check Points do cap out at 32,000 when the world has been open for 42 days. So for any world open for longer than that enemy total city points would need to be under 32,000.

All other aspects of victory conditions are staying the same.

Q: Will this change victory conditions in existing worlds?

A: No, this change is only for new worlds starting with world 461.

Q: Is this for all world types?

A: Yes. This includes all new 1k worlds, legacy worlds, and guild worlds.

We will be monitoring worlds with these new victory conditions and if necessary will adjust the point amounts.

Thanks for taking my suggestion as high priority Orlor!! Cleanup is the worst and most boring part of the game which I never did and always end up losing my top spot for cleanup guys!!! Lol

Minimum size of lord city is 1000 the Rp and ch can be balled down to reduce the city to 1000 points.

Perhaps if you figure out a way to destroy the competitions arena, you will get a city below 1085.

Lol this was ironic...

Fact is that City Hall minimal level is 1; zero is impossible.
Destroying the Rally Point create a 1081 points city: that is the minimal lord city possible.

So I do welcome these new rules, having had to clean w126 with every cities needing to be under 1200xp (if I do remember well), finding ghost cities that only few players could see in the map (most the guild had a map with these cities unrevealed, reinstalling Valor wasn't useful, but everyone still could hit them if the coordinates were entered...).

But I do repeat my question: why 1000 points, just to be sure that no world is won before 14 days?

And before 7 days, no condition? So why creating an impossible condition from day 7 to day 13?

Lol just to point another Quarkitude, to show how detailed they do their work... That explain number or bug, glitches and exploit making numerous old players fleeing the game for other, stable and dynamic ones

These numbers were chosen so that the average active player in a world would be above the minimum points at each checkpoint.

There hasn't been a world that has closed in 14 days or less in Valor. You are correct that we could of just started the points at day 14. We added in the checkpoint at day 7 so players know that every 7 days it will increase (up to the cap).

Fun Fact: The fastest world win for a 1k world was 24 days.
