No news on Android at the moment. With the team fragmented between the iOS update and trying to get to the bottom of the closing worlds issue, splitting off a few more engineers to do Android would just slow everything down.

However, once the first iOS compatibility update is out, work will begin on the Android update. Instead of waiting on one big update, we'll release a series of smaller updates that will bring Android up to parity with iOS.

A more detailed schedule of how many planned updates, what will be included in each, etc. will follow as we get closer to that time.

A few months ago, I was connected via fb messenger. Emails to support were ignored with issues... I was told there was a huge backlog of incident reports and they were being addressed. Well, here we are months later, and still no response to tech support questions.
I list this here, because I was told there would be an Android fix coming that should even the playing field with ios. Many advantages to ios compared, as we all know.
However, this update mentioned here,as I read it is for ios only, and yes is delayed. What, if any, work has been done for Android players?

You are a only company ever where people have to beg you to take their money. Come on quark why not just be honest and say you can't fix the game and make an end to it....

I have been trying to contact someone from valor for sometime now my problem have gone unanswered for months now and even when you'll took over nothing. Support ticket number is 67305 please help me months now 1/16/15
