Troops in abandoned cities/barbs

Hi, 2 questions:
1.) if a player leaves a world and his city becomes a barb, do his troops vanish or are they still in the barb?
2.) if a player leaves but has sent his troops as support to a guild member, will those troops be still in that members' city when someone else conquers the barb? And can the conqueror call them back into the conquered barb? Or do they vanish when the original player leaves the world?

1) Troops stay in the barb
2) I'm not sure about this one but I think that the troops do remain as support and can be recalled.

For your first question yes. Any troop in a city after a player quits will remain there. As for your second question, yes, the support stays in the city and if you capture it you can recall the support.
