Questions on guild

I am fairly new to the game and have some guild questions. My guild is a smaller/newer guild...all of us are one city with no one player above 10K points. Our guild leader was recently taken out by another player. I sent troops to try and help as did another player that I was aware of (of course, being new, we did not have thousands of troops available to send), but not sure anyone else did. Becasue of the lack of support from the rest of the guild and because we have no leader, I am wondering if I should I stay with this guild or drop this guild and try to join a stronger guild for my survival? Thanks in advance for any thoughts/replies.

It will be much better to join a different guild,just pass out requests to other big guilds.
Even the guy who took your leader's city,you can approach him for guild invite.
