Is it possible to recap yourself? For example I send 5 waves of scholars to a city that has recently been conquered. I cap the city then what happens? Do all my scholars disappear (they are seconds- minutes apart)?

Yes this happens alot, u will lose ur first schol for capping then ur second one too but u will still be able to rebuild one without payong all the scholarships back

ive only overcapped a city once. now i just use 4 scholars instead of 5.
darth are you on any worlds above world 60?

It's not that big of a loss so I really don't care about it. I normall have it back in two to three hours depending on the world speed. Plus I play in worlds that have developed so that not capping because I went four instead of five is not an option. Plus I'd rather overkill than under kill. And I've had a lot of single digit loyalty left so I always send five now. And I know a lot of others do too

true but since im destroying my enemies near my cities i can afford to only send 4 scholars. i can always send another one easily. i send 5 when i long bomb

Agree with Fire820. Rather lose two scholars on a cap than have my opponent get support and keep the city. I've had 30k+ enemy support land within minutes of conquering a city- even a few minutes count, let alone the time to send a new scholar.

i make sure i send my scholars seconds after my clear. has always worked for me. my enemy doesnt get support becoause i send fakes to his other cities. so he doesnt know which is my real attack

My enemies tend to pull support from all guild members, as well as spending gold to reveal incoming troops. Killed 150k defenders in one enemy city.
