Unit Stats

I have been wondering about the meaning of unit stats.

There are there stat icons for each type of troops. One is crossed swords which must mean attack. Then there is a red shield icon and a blue shield icon. What do those icons mean?

Red : defense against infantrys
Blue : defense against mounted units
