You just need to quit the program and then go back in. Double tap the home button on your device and it will bring up the action menu at the bottom. Hold down the valor icon until a small X appears in the upper left hand corner. Click that X and Valor is closed. Then just open it like normal.

Try hitting the circle button twice on your phone (rapidly). It should open up a little sub-menu at the bottom of the screen. Press and hold the Valor icon until a little minus sign appears in the corner. Click to shut it down. That's how you affirmatively close an application (otherwise it just minimizes and runs in the background).

Success! I just restarted the game, and as soon as I hit the world selection screen was promoted to enter my ITunes username and password. As soon as I got I to the game the gold was added to my account. Thanks a lot guys!
