No army

I've been playing for some time now (my City hall is level 23) and I'm at my 3rd Quest.. I can't go on cause I have no army what so ever.. I attacked couple of barbarian cities but now I'm not even producing any soldiers.. I have Barrack and Stables.. Please help, I can't go on

Go to your barracks and start producing Lancers etc etc

You need to go to your city, click on the Barracks and then select the number of troops to make, and scroll to the bottom and select "Recruit troops".
