Scholarships dont add up

I just conquered a new city and the number of scholars that I have ready doesn't add up. It's been over 10 hours do I don't think the problem is refreshing. I clearly have only 4 ready scholars and I've checked everywhere. Troop counts, scholars abroad, scholars in education, theres no 5th scholar. So why did it claim I have 5 scholars and that I currently have '-1' scholars allowed to be educated? It is making me buy another 26 scholarships to go from -1 to 0 where I don't even have that 5th scholar. Please help me solve this glitch, thanks in advance!

Never mid I solved my own problem lol, the only way to fix it was to conquer another city. That's the only way to fix that counting error meh.

It is because you had too many scholars and not enough scholarships I had -9 scholars and had to buy all the scholarships for those 9 extra scholars I gained before I could build any more scholars

Same thing happens to me!I have 2 scholars,game tells me I have 4 and I've already have 32 scholarships!I can't build scholars anymore!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have 3 cities nightterror ? That would explain why you have 4 in total 2 scholars + 2 conquered cities
