Save account or so

Hello all, my ipod touch is acting a little weird lately, so I'm planning to restore my device. But doing that will result in losing my account right? So I wonder, is there any possibility to save my progress or save my account? Thanks in advance.

Im not 100% on this but i know that your account is linked to the device. You should be able to restore your iPod without losing your account.

I would suggest that you link your account to an email address before you try it however.

To do this open up your city hall or view your city,
Click the cog (upper right corner) > transfer account > enter an email address - you will be required to log in to the account and verify the email address.
Once it is linked, feel free to restore the device and if you cannot log in to your account, you will be able to restore it from your email.

There is also information on the PlayMesh helpdesk on transfers. Send a support ticket if you're still not sure what to do.

Thank you all for reacting so quickly. I now have completly restored my iPod Touch and everything's still where it was when I left.
