Can i cap a scholar?

Postby FxEffekt » Wed Jan 04, 2012 4:53 am

What happening with your scholar limit if you cap à city which has an acedemy with scholars. Do I cap e scholars and increase my scholarly it?
Let's say I am at scholar limit 1 and have 1 scholar, and so far just on SS. I cap a city which also are on scholar limit 1 and have one scholar. Do I then cap the scholar? And maybe also the SS? So I'm then on scholar limit 2 but with just 2 SS in total?

The only way I know of your scholar limit going up is by buying scholarships that said, if you take city that has any scholars out you gain them as any troops out of the city become yours, this thou while it increases your scholars does not increase your limit and you would need to buy more scholarships just to 'break even'

Yes, this can cause you to go negative on scholars. Meaning you can have more scholars than your limit permits.

When this occurs, you cannot train another scholar until you get enough scholarships to balance it out.

At least you still get the scholars. Still a huge perk.

Only if the scholar is out of the city at the time you conquer, if it's in it gets killed along with the rest of the troops
