Postby Goldnagger » Tue Jan 17, 2012 1:23 pm

If I used instant spy on a city, will the player of that city see a report that they got spied on?

Then they shouldn't be called spies at all then. Maybe call it something else like "instant Recon." I think this needs to be fixed, if I'm using 25 gold to spy on anybody, then make it worth it. Since there are no real virtual spy being used.

Damn I'm disappointed I thought this thread was about warm apple pie mmm mmm

On a serious note, I partially disagree gold nagger, having the ability to spy in the way you wish to should happen but I feel it would cost more to do it, that way a player would think and choose targets more carefully, the current way is just a form of scouting without the time delay, but cutting out the report back to defending player is an unfair advantage players should be made to pay for otherwise scouts would become pointless as everyone would be spying.

Don't get me wrong I use instant spy most of the time, my scouts are just for anti-scouting purposes

These pies are too good for those spies lol

Now that you explain it that way I understand. It's to even out the playing field. But I still believe that the "spy" name is misleading.
