Change city name?

How can you change a city's name? I just conquered a city but it won't let me change the name "barbarian city". Thank you for your help.

Hey noexplode!

All you need to do is scroll down to the bottom of the city hall. There should be a box where you can change the name of that city.

First city name change is free, it costs 5 gold the second.

I think the charge for the subsequent village name changes is ridiculous. In tribal wars, you can change the village names whenever you like, without any consequences. Say I name my first 4 villages random things, and then decide to institute an ordered system. I have to pay 5 bucks just to fix that? Now I understand pretty much every other instance of using gold in this game, they make sense and arn't necessary to play. But charging for city name changes seems excessive.
