Merchants?

Does anyone know where I can recruit merchants from? Thanks for your help!

Merchants come from building a market. In order to get more merchants you need to upgrade your market.
The merchants are trained automatically when the market hits a few different level marks.

Thanks for this - I have built a level 2 market and it says I have 0/2 merchants available. Where did my 2 merchants go?!

Did you recently accept a trade offer?
It takes time for the merchants to make these trades. Tap on the movement tab at your market, it should let you know what your merchants are up to.
