How do you know when other cities need support?

You'll know if a city needs Support if the owner of the city informs you or the guild or if you send a single troop to support you'll get a report anytime that city you're supporting is attacked.

You can only support guild mates so they should post in the guild forum for support. You can also use a "trip wire" witch involves you sending one troop to a city and you will get a report when they are attacked. A trip wire only tell you after they get attacked so it may be to late to help them and also you can only send out 25 groups of troops at a time so they will tie up that number depending on how many you have sent out.
