How do i scout a city?

I have scouts but can't figure out how to use

You just find a city and attack it with scouts.

Also I have noticed if the stable is under lvl5 the sout will only spy on the resources. If the stable is over lvl 5 u can spy the facilities as well

It also depends on the how many scouts the city has you are scouting. If you win you will get all info on city. If you lose and don't have all your scouts killed you will only get info on troops inside the city.
