Any point in multiple academies?

I am wondering if I conquered a city then use the city that I conquered to build another academy. Would I still have go through the whole 5 scholarsships thing to buy a scholar at new academy? Or I just need to buy 1 scholarship for the 2nd academy then I can get 1scholar out of thr second academy.

Scholarships and scholars count towards your whole kingdom.
You should build additional academies
1.) Just in case your academy is destroyed
2.) So you ca buy scholarships without having to shuffle resources
3.) So you can buy a scholar at a city closer to your target
