W1: Any winners yet?

Since I started in W36. I have always wondered if they will ever declare a winner and were will it be posted? Any word on the old worlds?
I know of a few players with about 1000 cities but not sure if there could ever be 1 person who controls an entire world.
We are discussing some sort of end game internally right now. That way there would be some end goal besides seeing how many cities you can conquer. That of course could still be a side goal of anybody who wants it to be.
