How can I get free gold. I used up my gold and the next quest says that I should use a speed up. The speed up costs gold and I don't have gold. I already used the one I was given from the lady at the beginning. So, what now?

Gold is not free. You will have to buy more.

There's absolutely no way? No downloading apps or milestones or anything?

You can spin the "roller" (with free amulet per day) and get 15 min speed up. That's free

Don't think, that the type of gold he talking about.. Lol

If you are talking about the Quest that requests that you use a speed up, then you should have alraedy been given one.

While it does require gold to purchase additional speedups, you should be aware that you do recieve your first one for free.

Do the following:
Go to your city > Click the City hall> In the building queue click "speed up"

In this list you should see a list of speed ups.
The first one should say "Apply"
The rest should say "Buy and apply".

The first speed up should have already been given to you, and therefore you will not have you purchase it, you will only have to apply it.

Remember, only click "Apply" if you do not wish to purchase additional gold. Do not click "Buy and Apply" unless you wish to spend gold.

I recently got a friend to download valor and he got 100 gold for free. He says he did not buy it.
