So, I just started, and I was wondering, why can I change my name without having to pay gold?

you should be able to change your name once without paying gold, and then have to pay 5 gold each time in future

You get a free name change the first time but you need to pay 50 gold if you want to change it again.

Every time a city is captured, the city can change its namd once more.

Where do I change my name at?

I want to change my name for the first time in any world and already asking for 50 gold!..Where is the free name change?!

In the Settings screen there is a window that says "Player Name" above it. If you are entitled to a free name change the name in the window should be "Lord<random 9 digit number>" if it isn't then you have already used your free name change, if it is, then you may have accidentally hit the change button, or your game may have bugged. Either way, contacting support should allow you to rectify the problem.
