Once you research your academy do you need to maintain the 25/20/15 or can you demolish to increase farm space for troops? Pr what happens if a ballista attack does this for you. Do you lose the academy?

You won't lose the academy unless a ballista destroys it or you demolish it. You're gonna want to keep your resources as high as possible to buy scholarships and scholars especially clay
