Player Invite

As a guild leader I sent out an invitation to a player. Since then the player has changed his name and become inactive.
When I attempt to withdraw the invitation it says the player could not be found.
Now I'm stuck at 24 members and a slot empty because I cannot send any more invitations.
Anyway around this?
