I really need to get in a higher rank in my guild but can't figure out how to get points

This is really a bad question. But only because the wide range of answers. Yes the way to gain points is to build structures. But as to which ones to start with is debatable. Most do agree that you do need resources, warehouse, and farm at at least 10. But from there everybody differs. Some say do immediately city hall. Some say get wall and troops. Some say develop your resources and etc. more. Some say a combination. So it all depends on what kind of player you are.
