My Valor app is taking up 3.7 GB of storage on my phone, while it only takes up 270 MB of storage on my friends phone. We are in the same worlds, 3 and 87. Why does mine take up so much space?

Sounds like your cache is getting pretty full.
If you uninstall and re install Valor all of your cities etc will still be there and the amount of space it takes up will be a lot less. Each time you go to a new city though it will need to communicate with the server for all of the info for that city.
Right now most of that data is already on your phone, which is why it is so large.

Easiest fix for this is to periodically close Valor by deleting it from your iPhone's multitasking task. Double tap the Home button on your device. A row of app icons will appear across the very bottom of the screen. Those are pass that are currently running in the background on your device. Press one of those app icons for a few seconds and they will all start shaking. And X will appear in the upper left-hand corner of all of the shaking icons. Tap the X for those app icons you want to close. Be sure to close the Valor app. Wait a minute or two and then reopen Valor by tapping the app icon on the desktop. This flushes the Valor cache and frees up available memory. However, when you open a new city screen, Valor has to go to the server to download the data pertaining to that city it will slow the app down until it downloads all city information. This of course begins to fill up your available device memory and you will eventually run low on memory again.
