Ever wonder how scouts can send a report back to base as soon as they reach there destination a thousand of miles away or more

They carry very primative cell phones with a long string and two styraphome cups at each end.

They called it a styraphone back in those days

Obviously they communicate via smoke signals. ....yeah....because THAT makes more sense :P
