I saw a player attacking me for more than 1 day non stop. Is he using some kind of program to play and is that legal?

I have joined a guild and my fren is helping to defend. However this guys seems to have unlimited troops and supply. I need more help and I am starting to have conspiracy theory that this guy is cheating and bla bla bla. LOL
