Spying a barbarian city but my 2 scouts tell me only the resources there but not the #and types of troops. How do I get info on the troops there?

You need more scouts or higher level which can be upgraded in Forge.

No your scouts need to be level two before they can see troops in city, and level three before they can see troops out of city. Upgrade your scouts in your forge.

Level 1 scouts should tell you the number of troops in a city.
Level 2 scouts will tell you the buildings and their levels within the city
Level 3 scouts will tell you all of the supporting troops currently posted outside of the city.
On the mail tab - the attack report will have a list of troops at the bottom of the page (for level 1 troops).
This is the number of troops in that city. If it has all zeros then there are no supporting troops in this city.
