Gold Coin for Farm Upgrade

I upgraded my Farm from 27 to 28 for the required 170 gold coin (steep) which I purchased, but no upgrade! Out of gold coin, so I purchase more, go back to Farm upgrade and I'm asked for 390 more for the upgrade (impossibly steep) to move from 27 to 28. What gives? I enjoy Valor, but I'm getting priced out. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Maybe try refresh the data pulling down Farm screen, or send an attack and then abort in order the troops to come back and the city infos to be updated, or to quit Valor and restart it, or to reinstall the game...
