How to join a guild

Hi I'm a total noob how do I join a guild
You need to request an invitation from another guild member currently in a guild.
Look around the map in your general area and select another player, then send them a message asking them for an invite to their guild.
You can seen a message by selecting their city, hitting the info bubble for more information, then selecting the player - a mail icon will appear, allowing you to send a message to that player.
