Hi, this thread can be used for similar questions.
So, what happens if your city is conquered while troops are outside? Will they fight when they return? What if they win? Where they will go? Because there will be no scholar between them and even after wining the city will be not yours? And second part of question - if your troops supporting allied or your city and is conquered. Will conquerer will have the ability to recall troops and use them like his or if he recalls them they would return and attack him? :)

If your troops are outside the conqueror will get the troops. They will be his to lead.

Just to confirm: If I have two cities and I send all the troops from city 2 in support of city 1 and city 2 is conquered while the troops are in city 1, then I will lose all of the troops from 2 that are in 1 for support?

Other than not losing the city, is there a way to avoid this troop loss?

Can I instead move units to another city, like resources, rather than support and risk losing them?

Troops and scholars always belong to the owner of the city in which they were originally recruited. There is no changing their home.

They would have to kill off your supporting troops in the city you are supporting before they an conquer that city. You can move resources to another city if you use your market or spend it on scholarships if you have more than one academy.

Another good one - I captured city with scholar sent as support. I recalled him, will write if I could use him to capture city.

Make sense. Sense when troops are away from city and you CAP it. They become your troops, so makes sense if you can use it to CAP other cities.

CAP=Capture

From city A I send scholars to conquer a city. Before my scholars conquer the city I am attacking. Someone else conquers my city A. Who would get the city I am attacking?
