Supporting conquered cities

Once I've conquered a city, how do I sent troops to support my new city?

In another wave.rather than pressing attack u press support

I tried this but got a message that I can only support members in your guild. Is forming or joining a guild the only way to support your own cities?

You have to conquer the city first, you cant start sending support to it even if you know you will take it before your support gets there.

no youcan't support your own city without being in guld. abig i think they need to fix. create your own guild and then you can support yourself.
