Player/City Points

On the map, my city points total is consistently 400-800 points below my player points. Would be grateful is someone could tell me why this is, many thanks.

That's because they're building like you or faster then you.

Thank you for your answer but please can you clarify this? Are you saying the difference in the point totals in some way reflects my building queue? At the moment my player points are 6400 but my CITY points are 5100.

It's because you have kill scores(see in profile) and it only when you have one city

actually i think its more lag in the system. ranking doesn't adjust as fast as the building. ranking is solely based on the points of a city. i made the same comment in an earlier thread

Aha you mean that. I can explain that. In valor, the points updates like every 2 hours( just example, could be 24h) that's why it shows different points.

Yes, the way that the system updates and polls this information is different for each scale. They are each independently updated. As such, when one updates and increases the points, the other may not for a period of time.
This can cause a difference in points when you look at one system compared to another. This is not a bug and the difference should be fairly small. You may on the off change look at these points a notice a large difference after a city loss or gain, but it will update.
