I send a scout with every attack is this a good idea?

I don't in conquering waves. Most of the cities I take are maxed so I don't care what the building levels are-- I already know. And once I'm in the city I don't have to have scouts tell me troops are out- I know by the farm level.

When you scout a city do you see ALL of the troops in the city including support? Or just the troops that belong to the city? Anyone know?

I think you just see the troops in the city AT THAT MOMENT. This should include any support troops.
