How do you take another players city?

By sending scholars to reduce it's loyalty to 0%, then it is yours.

After getting out of protection, build your academy, teach a scholar, and then attack the city. Send a scout first to see how high the wall is, than send Rams in with your initial strike force to take down the wall. If the person has troops, make sure you send in troops. Do this 4 or 5 times and you will take the city.

If the city is troopless there is no need to destroy perfectly good walls. Use the simulator to see how many cheap troops (lancers or zerks) you need to send to protect your scholar, then just take the city with its walls. You get "free" walls then in your city, and one less building to have to build later on.
