Killing farms inside cities

JusT a quick question, if you kill farms inside of cities does it turn off the players resource collection or only his ability to create troops?

The farm has nothing to do with the amount of resources a city can produce. And yes, like you said it only stops the ability to produce more troops. The warehouse stores all the resources.

Only way to interrupt production is to destroy the source. I like to target the farm when I conquer. You beat it down and he won't be able to recruit further troops.
