Clearing out

When I send the first 5 waves to clear out troops when capturing a city, what units should I use, and how many in each wave?

Scout them first to find out how many troops they have. Then load their troops in the simulator and play with the numbers. I send guardians, berserkers and rams to clear the troops and walls. scholar waves have enough troops to buffer against a ppossible reinforce from his guild. If half the troops with a scholar dies your scholar will probably die.


As the slow waves get to about an hour out I send another wave of scouts to check for any surprise reinforcements, if so I may send a knight wave to hopefully hit before the scholar waves to protect the scholars.
