I want to maximize my army. If you were to demolish buildings what would you choose? 1. Marketplace or 2. forge and academy? This is for my defense city.

I highly suggest demolishing your forge once you have an academy built up and allocated your points. Keep the academy! If you happen to have loads of spare resources in the city ou can use it for scholarships to help make scholar!

I agree with virus. Furthermore, if you have extra resources you can use your high level market to ship stuff to another city if you need something there.

And, is it worth it to maximize cityhall, barracks, stable , and workshop? I not, What is the recommended level? Thanks

City hall is worth maximising. It gives quite a lot of points and it does speed up the building process a bit. To and maximise your barracks and Stable. Don't bother with the workshop unless you plan to use the city to make siege weaps.
