Scholars per city

What do you do with your scholars?
Create them 1 per city that has an academy? then launch an attack from 5 different cities with full armies (after clearing attacks)?
Create them 5 per city that has an academy? then launch 5 attacks from that city, each with a contingent of guardians (after clearing attacks)?
Don't create the scholars until you need them?

I'd like opinions of how other players play this facet of the game.

I do 1 per city That way I can send a good amount of support with it

So do I, but I'm starting to question the method. It's a real pain in the butt to coordinate the attacks of 5 different cities to arrive at the same time, and you also tip off your opponent. If you proceed your scholars with a decent clearing wave, and send in, let's say 500 guardians with each scholar, they can easily hit at the same time.

I also like them in different city's so if I lose a city I can get I back fast

Well there are trade offs

If u put them in all ur cities then u don't tip off ur opponent cause if u see 5 attake coming from the same city they are most likey scholars, and u can send full cities of troops with them so they are less likey to die if ur opponenet dodges. however it is tedious to coordinate all ur attacks this way

If u build them in 1 city as the defeder it's easy to tell which are scholars do I can easily dodge ur clearing waves and since u don't have much support troops with them I can kill at least 2 scholars which is all I need to save my city

Wherever I need them for me. Makes it pretty easy. I'll do any number. The farther away, the more scholars.
