scout report

I sent 280 troops to a city...and 170 were taken but the rest returned. In the report under defender it said : sent: lancers 500 / berserkers 700
.and so on. Is this the report that shows how many troops r in the city or just how many were sent to defend.??

That's your report, that's telling you what troops are in the city.

There was nothing that came up that said espionage though...just the box the two boxes for attacker and defender...so i was talking about what is inside the defender box.

Yes that is your report, depending on Scout level or if theres research levels on your world. If you are on a non research able world or you have level 3 Scouts it brakes down like this, if you loose less then 1/3 of your Scouts you get Troop info, building levels and units outside the city in your report. If you loose between 1/3 and 2/3 your troops you get troop info and building levels. If you loose over 2/3 your scouts you get troop info. I do believe that is right but I'm half asleep at the moment. Hope it helped. FYI their scouts defend against attacking scouts not Military units.
